Week 7

During week 7 we learned and studied the specific terms that relate to bridge engineering.  We used tools such as The NCHRP Synthesis 375 and The Glossary of Terms Used in Bridge Engineering to learn the key components of what makes up a bridge.

After learning the proper ways to discuss and describe a bridge, we went on a walking bridge tour with our advisors.  While on this tour we discussed and observed multiple aspects of a handful of bridges located over the Schuylkill River.  Below are some of the photos that we took while exploring these bridges.
